We know that our customers care about the environment just as much as they care about what they eat. That’s why we’ve redesigned our boxes to be more eco-friendly without compromising their strength or quality. What’s New?

1. Plastic-Free
We’ve completely removed all plastic from our packaging. This is a huge step for us, and we’re proud to say that we no longer rely on any plastic materials to ship our frozen meals. This means less waste for the planet and a more sustainable shipping process.

We will save over 10 tonnes of plastic PER YEAR by removing our old plastic liners.

2. Fully Recycled Board
Our boxes are made from 100% recycled board. Using recycled materials reduces the need for new resources and gives materials a second life. It’s a small change that adds up to a big difference in reducing our carbon footprint.

3. Kerbside Recyclable
One of the best features of our new packaging is that it’s fully kerbside recyclable. When you’re done with your box, you can simply pop it in your recycling bin, and it will be collected and processed in local recycling facilities. No need to worry about special drop-off points or complicated disposal methods. It’s as simple as it gets!

4. Super-Strong for Safe Shipping
Even though we’ve eliminated plastic, we haven’t compromised on strength. Our new boxes are designed to be super-strong and durable, ensuring that your meals arrive at your doorstep in perfect condition, no matter how long the journey. Whether they’re being handled in transit or stacked on your front porch, our boxes are built to withstand the rigours of shipping.

Not only did we get Iain jumping on them, but we loaded them up with over 200kg in the gym before they buckled.

5. Better Thermal Regulation
Shipping frozen meals comes with its challenges, especially when it comes to keeping your food at the perfect temperature. Our new boxes are not just eco-friendly – they’re also designed for better thermal regulation. The combination of recycled board and innovative design ensures that your meals stay frozen from the moment they leave us to the moment they reach your freezer. No more worrying about compromised meals!

When (if) the weather decides to bless us with sunshine, we have an ingenious option to swap the inner layer for one which is coated with advanced new technology: a biodegradable membrane which is proven to stabilise and maintain the temperature within the box.
